5 Detroit police officers involved in shooting on west side

DETROIT - A man was shot by police on Artesian and Joy Road on Detroit's west side Friday night.

Police tell FOX 2 the officers were responding to a report of a man shooting a gun at  Mike's Coney Island. Police say the man approached them waving the gun. Officers ordered him to drop the weapon. He refused and shots were fired.

The man is in critical condition.

All of the officers involved are being questioned.
