5 vehicle crash closes John R north of Big Beaver

TROY, Mich. (FOX 2) - First responders are at the scene of a five car crash on John R north of Big Beaver.

There are serious injuries according to police, but the severity is unknown at this time. An extracation had to be performed on one of the vehicles' occupants.

Police say John R in both directions will be closed at Big Beaver for the time being as the scene is cleared.

Investigators say  or the cause is available at this time.
