Barricaded man surrenders from inside Lincoln Park Noodle House

An barricaded man has surrendered peacefully in Lincoln Park. 

The man, who had a weapon, was inside the Hop Sheing Noodle House at 4232 Fort Street was in custody just after 8:30 p.m., ending a nearly four-hour standoff.

The 24-year-old suspect is an employee of the restaurant and was alone inside and "acting suicidal" according to police. 

He surrendered without incident and there were no injuries. 

Police said the man had a weapon but would not specify if it was a gun.
