TROY, Mich. - Beaumont introduced Metro Detroit to the first baby born in the new decade Wednesday morning.

Baby Levi James Stouffer entered the world at 12:42 a.m., weighing 8 pounds and 8 ounces.

His family is from Oakland Township.
