Two young boys who never came home from school Monday were found safe nearly 6 hours later.

The brothers, 10-year-old Jeremiah Tyus and 6-year-old Isiah Tyus, attend Flagship Academy on Wisconsin Street. Their mother said they never came home after school.

The boys always walk to and from school to their home on Cloverlawn.

According to police, the brothers decided to go to their father's home on Holmes Street instead of walking home after school.

The mother had gone to the school looking for the boys, and some fellow students told her they saw the boys leaving the school.

The boys were reunited with their mom just before 11 p.m. Monday. You can see video of that in the video player above.

"Of course we'll talk about it, but, right now, just - they're here. They're here," she says.

The boys were found by police just after 9 p.m. They were with one of the boys' father.
