Brutal assault captured on video at Chene Park Lil Wayne show

DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) - A brawl breaks out over the weekend during a rap concert at Chene Park in Detroit.

Punches, kicks, a chair and a crutch are thrown into the mix during this altercation that erupted in the stands in a video posted on YouTube by

It happened Saturday evening when 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne and other rap artists were scheduled to take the stage.

Two people reportedly suffered serious injuries. And there is no word if any arrests have been made. Detroit police are investigating.

The production company The Right Productions, released a statement saying they strongly condemn the acts of the individuals involved.

"We take this incident very personally. We are working with law enforcement to identify and locate the individuals responsible," said Shahida Mausi, CEO of The Right Productions. "Nothing like this has happened in the 30-year history of the Chene Park Ampitheater. This is an isolated incident."
