Buffalo driver parks car too close to Lake Erie, learns hard lesson

(FOX NEWS) - As cold air reaches as far south as Florida, video out of a Buffalo, New York suburb is going viral.

Footage shot by WKBW shows an entire car frozen in snow and ice. 

Officials say the car was parked along Lake Erie and turned into an ice sculpture after being hit by lake-effect rain, snow, and freezing temperatures.

There's no word on how long it will take the owner to melt the ice and get the car up and running again.  

As anyone from the Great Lakes area knows, be aware where you park.
