Caught on camera: Robbers use bolt cutters to steal thousands of dollars worth of tools

BROWNSTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) - Several men broke into a business in Brownstown Township -- but they probably didn't know that their criminal act was caught on tape.

The incident took place on Sunday morning at Cas Carpentry. Surveillance video shows robbers taking bolt cutters to a lock on a trailer loaded with tools and stealing tens of thousands of dollars worth.

"It's a disgusting feeling to have -- that somebody just comes in like that and robs you. It's a horrible feeling," said business owner Charles Lafferty.

Lafferty is hoping someone will recognize the men who did this.

The men may try to sell this stuff, so be advised if someone is selling tools they "no longer need for some reason".

One suspect is known to have a giant shamrock tattoo on the back of his head.
