CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Hit-and-run driver strikes man, two kids and dog

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WJBK) - Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver in Kalamazoo.

They're releasing surveillance video of the incident.

A man, his two kids and his dog were crossing a street when a driver ran them over -- all of them were thrown to the ground.

The two kids, who are 4 and 2 years old, are back home and are doing fine after a short stay in a hospital.

The dog, Piper, took off after the driver and was missing for awhile, but he's back home Saturday.

The 45-year-old father is still in a hospital, but he's also expected to make a full recovery.

That driver never even touched the brake.

Police are still looking for whoever was behind the wheel.
