Charles Pugh is facing six counts of criminal sexual conduct.

The former FOX 2 reporter and Detroit City Council president has been charged for a case dating back to Sept. 1, 2003 by district court. On Wednesday a Wayne County judge issued a warrant for the arrest of Pugh.

Pugh, 45, has been charged with three first degree counts and three third degree counts for a person 13 through 15 years old.

It is the second recent case of allegations made against Pugh involving a younger person.

In November of 2015, a jury awarded $250,000 against Pugh in a civil suit from a young man who originally sued him for $1 million.

The jury ruling in favor of a plaintiff for battery and emotional distress. The young man, who was 17 at the time, was a student at Frederick Douglass Academy. He and his mother claimed Pugh preyed on him and sent explicit texts.

Pugh has lived and worked in New York ever since fleeing the state and his post in city government. He was not present for his civil case last year.
