Christmas Tree recycling near you

The halls were decked and the gifts were wrapped. Then came December 25th and now it's time to bring it all down. You recycled the paper so be sure and recycle that tree too!

Your Christmas tree should not be dragged out to the curb on your normal trash day. Instead, make sure it gets recycled.

Royal Oak residents, it's even easier. If you pull your tree down, you can track it to the curb before 7:00 a.m. on your normal trash day. The city will pick it up for you.

Ann Arbor also offers free recycling through the end of January at four city parks - so there's no reason not to recycle that evergreen. Click here to find the location near you.
