Coffee's on us: Troy Police hang out at Tim Hortons, buy coffees all morning

TROY, Mich. (WJBK) - Members of the Troy Police Department were paying it forward Wednesday morning.
They hung out at the Tim Hortons on Big Beaver Road, just east of Livernois Road all morning to buy coffee for customers.
"We're at [Tim Hortons in Troy] this AM sharing coffee, donuts & positivity," the department tweeted.
The department says they believe positive interactions promote a peaceful and safe community.
One customer tweeted the best part of the experience was "conversations and laughs."
