Coming soon to FOX2detroit: The Honor Roll
The 2016/2017 school year is upon us and this fall, FOX 2 is working with students at the International Academy in Bloomfield Hills to tell positive stories.
Meet Alexa and Adriana Doria. The two students at International Academy in Bloomfield Hills approached FOX 2 with a unique idea.
Partially as a school project, they wanted to find ways to tell positive stories about kids - for kids and adults.
Their goal is to showcase kids doing great things as a way to inspire other students and show them they’re capable of great things too.
They plan to assemble a judges’ panel to consider nominations submitted by kids, teachers and coaches.
Fox 2 plans to help showcase the selected students as part of our Honor Roll series. The hope is to get kids looking for positive stories about their peers on Fox 2 News.
