Crash victim uses truck to send anti texting & driving message
ROMEO, Mich. (WJBK) - The owner of a Romeo pickup truck that was apparently hit in a texting and driving crash is using his truck to send a message: don't text and drive.
Photos sent to FOX 2 from a viewer shows the white Chevy pickup adorned with messages. The pickup is parked in front of Four Corners Diner in Romeo, just off 32 Mile.
The messages, painted in red, are trying to send a message to get people to stop texting and driving, including 'let people live', 'love life...don't text and drive!' and 'every life is precious, don't text and drive', among others.
According to the person who sent the photos, the driver who crashed into the pickup was not paying attention and it's believed that person was texting and driving.
