Crystal clear video shows shooting at Detroit gas station in bad pot deal

Detroit Police released video of a carjacking and shooting at a Detroit gas station during a marijuana buy that went bad.

Police said the shooting happened on the city's east side in the 11600 block of McNichols just before midnight Sunday night. The video shows an Oldsmobile Alero pulling into the gas station with two people inside.

The driver was putting air in his tire when two suspects walked up and tried buying marijuana from the men. One man got into he car while the other waited outside for a just a moment before getting back out of the car and talking to the other suspect. The two then started talking before turning around and started shooting at both the driver and the passenger.

A 26-year-old man was shot multiple times in the body. He was most recently listed in critical condition.

Both suspects are described as follows:

Black male, 20s, 5'11", medium build, light complexion, wearing a tan colored Carhartt jacket, gray hoodie underneath, gray sweatpants, armed. Black male, 20s, 5'10", medium build, dark complexion, wearing a black jacket with a hood, light blue jeans, red, white, and black Jordan's, armed.
