Dead woman found half-naked fed on by dogs in vacant house

DETROIT - A dead woman was found  topless inside a vacant house on Hawthorne Street in Detroit.

The woman, who is white and was wearing blue jeans, appeared to have her left arm fed on by dogs.

A 51-year-old man spotted the woman and called 911 at about 3 p.m. Wednesday.

The house is located near I-75 and Eight Mile. Detroit police say they are not sure foul play was involved, but will have more information expected to come Thursday.

Medics said it appeared the woman had been dead for some time.
