Dearborn police investigate suspicious death of man
DARBORN, Mich. (FOX 2) - Police in Dearborn are investigating a suspicious death of a 26-year-old man found Monday morning inside of a home.
Police said 911 was called to a home on Appoline Street to a report of a possibly injured person. When they arrived around 7 a.m. Monday, a 26-year-old Marine City man dead.
The Dearborn Fire Department arrived first and gave the man CPR but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man's cause of death is not known at this time.
Detectives and investigators are at the home to collect evidence and search for witnesses. Police say the incident is still under investigation.
The victim has been identified by police but his name is not being released.
"This loss of life is tragic and on behalf of the Dearborn Police Department, I extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of the young man," said Police Chief Ronald Haddad.
