Death at mobile home community in Novi investigated

Police in Novi are investigating after a woman was found dead at a mobile home community on January 4. Police say there's no threat to the public at this time as the incident appears to be domestic in nature.

Police say they were called to the home in the 29000 block of Pierre Drive in the Oakland Glens Mobile Home Community around 6 p.m. Thursday. They found a 32-year-old woman on the floor who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the woman, who has been identified as Heather Dixon, died of strangulation, but didn't give any other details about her death.

Police say her husband was also at the home and is a person of interest. He's been taken into custody.
