Detroit-area man accused of teen sex trafficking

WARREN, Mich. (WJBK) - A Detroit-area man was arraigned Wednesday for allegedly forcing a teenage girl into prostitution.
Malik McCaster was charged with sex trafficking of children or by force, fraud or coercion, sexual exploitation of children and the production of child pornography
After running away from home, police say the Sanilac County teen went to the Warren fireworks on July 3 where she met McCaster through a friend.
He allegedly offered her a ride, then trapped her in the car. Throwing her cell phone out of the car on the freeway, McCaster held her against her will.
Police say he took her to a Detroit home where he held her for days. He's accused of filming himself having sex with her, posting the images on Craigslist and advertising her for adult services as "Joy."
Using his phone to arrange adult services, McCaster allegedly took the teen to the Gemini Motel in Redford to meet with clients.
That's when she escaped and called 911.
