Detroit Black Women's Business Expo coming Saturday

(WJBK) - FOX 2 is the proud sponsor of the 15th annual Detroit Black Women's Business Expo, which takes place at Greater Grace Temple this coming Saturday.

Joining the FOX 2 studios Monday morning with all of the event details was Mo'nae Rawls and Elizabeth Mays.

Rawls is the host of the event and Mays is an Achievers Award recipient at the event as well as a supporter and frequent participant in the expo.

There will be 50 exhibition booths and spaces occupied by black female business owners as they sell products, network and promote their respective businesses.

Featured guest speakers include radio personality Karen Dumas, Detroit City Council Member Mary Sheffield, and state Rep. Leslie Love (D-Detroit).

Additionally, the event will feature gospel music, hourly raffles and giveaways, a fashion show, an awards ceremony, and more.

The expo is free and open to the public.
