Detroit Police Department Winter 2016 College Internship
(WJBK) - The Detroit Police Department is accepting applications for Police Interns for Winter 2016. This program is designed to prepare and develop students who are interested in a career in policing and law enforcement. The Winter 2016 Internship will be unpaid. Participants may receive college credit through their college/university. Detroit Police internships are part time; minimum 12 hours per week. Schedules are usually day shifts, and attendance at Wednesday Career Day sessions (9:00 am-12:00 noon) is required.
Minimum qualifications include: Grade point average of 2.3 or above (4.0 system). Currently enrolled in accredited college/university academic associate, undergraduate or graduate program, or recent graduate (within 3 months of application) in the field of Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related field.
