Detroit police give update on shooting at repast

Just before 8 p.m. on Friday, Detroit police were called out to the 19000 block of Sherwood for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they discovered that three people had been shot. That number climbed to four when an additional person was sent to the hospital.

Two people are dead, and two others are in the hospital after a shooting in Detroit at a repast.

Just before 8 p.m. on Friday, Detroit police were called out to the 19000 block of Sherwood for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they discovered that three people had been shot. That number climbed to four when an additional person was sent to the hospital.

Two of the four people were shot; one victim was a woman in her 20s. The other was a man in his 30s. Their identities have not been released.

Police said that the event the victims were at was a repast. Around 100 people were attending the event. 

Detroit police are asking anyone with information to call the Detroit Police Homicide Division or call 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
