(FOX 2) - DTE says a gas leak in Grosse Pointe Farms has been capped following a leak reported along Moran Road.
The public safety concern stemmed from a natural gas leak at 126 Moran Road late Tuesday morning when third party struck the line while digging in the area.
"Our crews quickly responded and stopped the leak caused by the third-party contractor. DTE reminds everyone that they must call MISS DIG at 811 before any digging project to learn where gas and other utility lines are buried. It’s for everyone’s safety, and it’s the law."
Residents in the area can now return to their home.
