Farmington Hills PD look for suspect in attempted attack of woman

Police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted in an attempted attack of a woman in Farmington Hills.

The attempted attack, which police think may have been a sexual assault attempt, happened near Shiawassee and Hamilton Road at 1 a.m. Nov. 8

She was surprised by a male subject who knocked her to the ground.  The attacker fled the scene when she resisted.

The subject is described as a white male, in his late thirties, approximately 6 feet, two inches and 170 pounds, with a skinny build.

He had an orange colored beard and was wearing black pants – possibly the Dickies brand, a dark colored coat with a dark shirt beneath it, and tan work boots.  He also has a chipped or missing front tooth.
