Fatal residential fire in Auburn Hills

Auburn Hills, MI (WJBK) - Friday night, fire personnel in Auburn Hills responded to a fire at a residential structure.

They arrived on the scene to find light smoke coming from the front door of the residence. 

The room and content fire was knocked down quickly by the first arriving fire crew. One person was found deceased in the home during the initial search. 

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time but Auburn Hills Police are investigating.
