ROSEVILLE, Mich. (FOX 2) - A parent is in custody after a 4-year-old child died of a gunshot wound in Roseville Friday morning.
The shooting happened Friday morning just before 9 a.m. at a home in the 15000 block of Dort Street, which is near Frazho and Hayes roads.
Chief James Berlin said earlier Friday the gunshot wound was self-inflicted, but authorities cannot say for certain now that was the case. We're told several other young children were in the home when it happened.
We're told the boy's father is in custody and is expected to be arraigned on charges later Friday afternoon. Charges were not yet specified.
