Fire destroys apartment building in Lincoln Park

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (WJBK) - Authorities are investigating how a massive apartment fire started early Friday morning in Lincoln Park. 

At one point the flames fully engulfed the Indian Village Apartments, which are near Goddard Road and Fort Street.

The fire started around 3 a.m. We're told a neighbor who realized what was happening went door to door to help wake everybody out. Everyone was able to get out, and no injuries have been reported. 

Investigators aren't sure where or how the fire started yet.
