Ford issued a recall for 20,558 cars because of a battery issue that might raise the risk of a crash.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recall notice on Nov. 14, a manufacturing flaw in one or more of the high voltage battery cells may result in an internal short circuit and battery failure.
The agency explains that battery failure can increase the risk of a crash but also a fire.
