Former manager of Vinsetta Garage pleads guilty to $100k embezzlement
The former manager of Vinsetta Garage in Berkley pleaded guilty to embezzling over $100,000 from the popular restaurant.
Jeffrey Wells pleaded guilty in court last week. The 29-year-old was arrested and charged in December.
He pleaded guilty on February 10 and will be back in court for his sentencing on March 30.
Vinsetta Garage is just south of Catalpa Drive on Woodward Ave. The popular restaurant was built inside of a former car repair shop of the same name.
The restaurant is a popular spot on Fridays and Saturdays, especiallly in the summer during the Woodward Dream Cruise.
