FOUND SAFE: 97-year-old William Gary missing from Southfield independent living facility

Southfield, MI (WJBK) - UPDATE (1:30 a.m.): William Gary has been found safe and is currently being treated at a local hospital.

Police and loved ones need your help as concerns rise for a missing man. 97-year-old William Gary walked away from his independent living facility in Southfield.

Gary is 150 pounds and stands 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a green sweatshirt and blue pants, its believed that he is not wearing shoes. 

He was last seen at his home on Civic Center Drive in the area of lasher and Ten Mile.

Gary's nickname is Fuzzy and he is the beloved father of a Fox 2 colleague. If anyone has any information, please contact Southfield Police right away.
