FOX 2 in Cleveland: The latest from the Republican National Convention

It's time for the Republican National Convention, and FOX 2's Roop Raj and Charlie LeDuff are down in Cleveland gearing up to bring you the latest election news.

Held at the Quicken Loans Arena, the 41st Republican National Convention will run from Monday, July 18 through Thursday, July 21.

By the numbers, the convention will host:
- Nearly 2,470 delegates
- 2,302 alternate delegates
- 15,000 credentialed media
- 50,000 visitors
- 59 delegates from Michigan
- 59 alternate delegates from Michigan

This year marks the fourth time the convention has taken place in Ohio -- a key state for GOP candidates as no Republican has won the White House without first taking Ohio.

Cincinnati hosted the convention in 1876, and Cleveland hosted in 1924 and 1936.

For those who want to follow along in the action, you can download a 2016 RNC app for iOS and Andriod.
