Free, virtual science summer camp from Michigan Science Center and Metro Parent

Finding summer activities for kids can be tough. Metro Parent is teaming up with the Michigan Science Center - and Izzy, a puppet personality -to offer a virtual science camp this summer.

It kicks off on Monday, June 20 and runs through August 29. The camp is a free series of six cool STEM experiments kids can do at home. Each has a fun video how-to, plus a PDF guide packed with related science activities. At the end, kids take a quiz for a free MiSci pass for the fall -- and a crack at $1,000 for college.
