Home Depot hiring 1,500 associates in Detroit area

(WJBK) - Spring is almost here! The Home Depot is preparing for the season, which is its busiest, by hiring 1,500 associates in the Detroit area.
You can apply online at careers.homedepot.com, or job seekers can text HOMEDEPOT to 52270 and receive a link to apply to hourly positions in their area (Message and data rates may apply.) The application takes about 15 minutes.
Opportunities include both permanent part-time and seasonal positions in the company's stores and distribution facilities. College students, retirees and veterans are encouraged to apply.
Available positions vary by store.
Eighty-thousand associates are being hired nationwide.
