    • A threat against Howell High School was made on social media.
    • All Howell Public Schools are closed Monday while an investigation is conducted.

HOWELL, Mich. (FOX 2) - Howell Public Schools are closed Monday while police investigate a social media threat. 

According to the school district, the threat of violence at Howell High School was discovered early Monday. 

The district said it closed all schools out of an abundance of caution to give police time to fully investigate the threat. It is unclear if the threat was credible.
