Huron Twp police have person of interest after shots fired call

HURON TWP., Mich. (WJBK) - Police have made an arrest at the scene of a reported shooting in Huron Township.

Witnesses told investigators a man was seen shooting from the second floor to the parking lot at 2 p.m. inside the Quality Pipe business near Huron River Drive and Pennsylvania.

Police are speaking to a person of interest in the incident and say 60 employees of Quality Pipe were safely evacuated from the business. 

There have been no reports of injuries. Downriver SWAT is at the scene.

The officer in charge told FOX 2 that since police arrived there were no shots fired.
