Jay's Juniors sending 19 families to Disney World

(WJBK) - Jay's Juniors with 100.3 WNIC helps Jay Towers take kids with chronic or terminal illnesses on an all-expenses paid trip to Walt Disney World Resort.

This year, 19 kids and their entire families are going on the trip.

A big surprise at the welcome party Saturday night was a visit from Detroit Pistons Andre Drummond. The kids and families loved seeing Andre, but many of the kids are really looking forward to seeing the sites and riding the rides at Disney.

For so many of these kids, this is a change to get away from doctors and hospitals -- and get out of the cold weather.
