(FOX NEWS)- Mehgan Merriott and Robert Cooper don't know the gender of their unborn child, but they're already sure that the baby will be a patriotic American.
Merriott and Cooper, a former marine, say that the 12-week-old baby "saluted" during a routine ultrasound appointment earlier this week.
The Columbus, Georgia, couple shared a sonogram that shows the baby raising its hand to its head like a miniature soldier.
Merriott said her mother-in-law plans to hang the photo of the "salute" on her wall in honor of Cooper and his father, who both served in the military.
