Man allegedly shoots nephew to death during argument on Detroit's west side

Detroit police are at the scene of a suspected fatal shooting between family members Thursday.

The suspect, a 48-year-old man, allegedly shot his 24-year-old man multiple times during an argument at a house on Evergreen and Outer Drive at 5:30 p.m.

Neighbors say the older man is the uncle of the victim. Police have only confirmed the two men had been "known to each other."

The suspect stayed at the scene and turned the murder weapon over to police. The man, who has been arrested, allegedly shot his nephew four or five times.
