Man dies after argument over money

Detroit Police were dispatched to the 19000 block of Asbury Sunday morning to look into a shooting that happened around 12:40 a.m.

Authorities tell FOX 2 that the victim, a 28-year-old male, went to the shooter’s home. While there, an argument occurred about money owed. Both men were armed during this time.

The victim then started to point his rifle at the suspect, and that’s when the suspect fired a shot.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

Police say the suspect, a 33-year-old man, is a CPL holder.
