Man fatally shot inside home during phone conversation
DETROIT (WJBK) - Detroit police are investigating a fatal shooting of a man inside his home Tuesday afternoon.
The 44-year-old victim was fatally wounded while speaking on the phone inside a residence in the 4100 block of Kendall near Livernois.
A witness speaking with the victim told investigators he was speaking with him when he heard commotion and gunshots. He then hung up, called 911 and drove to the residence.
Investigators said that when EMS arrived, the victim was dead at the scene.
