Man hospitalized after being shot in driveway

DETROIT (WJBK) - A man is in the hospital after being shot in his driveway early Friday morning on Detroit's west side. The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. at a home in the 18,400 block of Santa Barbara Drive, which is near Curtis Street and Livernois Avenue.

Police say two men approached the victim in his driveway, shot him and took off. It's not clear at this time why the suspects approached the victim.

Police are still looking for the two suspects. They don't have much of a description to go on except for that they are two males.

We're told the victim is in the hospital in serious condition.
