Man in serious condition after house fire on Detroit's east side
DETROIT (WJBK) - A man was left in serious condition after a fire ripped through a home on Detroit's east side.
Police say the flames broke out around 2:30 a.m. Monday at a duplex on 8 Mile Road near Kelly Road.
According to first responders, they pulled a man in his 30s from the home and he is now in the hospital with severe burns.
At last check, the man was in serious condition.
The cause of the fire is not known as the arson squad continues to investigate.
