Man left in critical condition after hit and run on Detroit's westside

(WJBK) - A Black male in his 40s was struck by a vehicle Saturday night on Tireman near Terry Street in Detroit.

Police were called to the area to check for one person in the street struck by a white vehicle. When police arrived they did not find anyone. it was later confirmed by medics that a man from that area was hospitalized and listed in critical condition with two broken legs and trauma to the head. 

Police are still investigating the incident.
