Police in Shelby Township are searching for a man who robbed a Huntington Bank Friday morning.

Police were called to the Huntington Bank at 24 Mile and Hayes around 10:30 Friday morning. According to Shelby Township police, the suspect is a white man standing about 6'02", weighs over 300 pounds, and was wearing a wind breaker and knit cap.

Shelby Police said he handed the teller a note demanding money but did not show a weapon.

The man's description is very similar to a suspect wanted in a bank robbery at 23 Mile and Gratiot on Thursday. Police stopped short of saying it's the same man, saying he bears a "strong resemblance" to the suspect.

Police are using police dogs to track down the suspect.
