Police are still looking for the suspected shooter in the area.

Police are investigating what led up to the shooting that happened on the freeway. They say there may have been an accident just before the shooting happened.

A source tells FOX 2 the 25-year-old man was in the driver's seat when he was shot in the head. He was able to call 911.

A woman in the car with him was not hit by any shots.
