Man's body found in trunk on Detroit's east side

The Detroit Police Department are trying to identify a man whose body was found in the trunk of a car on the city's east side.

The man's body was found just before 10:30 am near Hickory & Fairmount in the trunk of a white Buick Century.

The car was parked in an alley near the intersection.

Some viewers have submitted photos to FOX 2 showing a man's arm hanging out of the car.

Police have not identified the victim. Anyone with information is urged to call police.
