Downtown Detroit had a rousing good time tonight and tomorrow as several big events descend upon the community.

The madness of March is in Detroit as Michigan State and Bucknell squared off in front of equally enthusiastic fans downtown. The Spartans won 82-78 and advanced to play Syracuse Sunday.

For the first time, Little Caesars Arena played host to the NCAA tournament and the spirit of Detroit was overflowing with all kinds of literal spirits for St. Patrick's Day

Events are happening downtown for those who don't have a ticket to the LCA, including Beacon Park with activities for the kids - and you don't have to be great at corn hole or foosball to play it.

The basketball games will be on the big screen inside the tent, with make and take children's activities as well.

Hilary Golston took in some of the action downtown, watch the video for more.
