MI Tea Party compares expulsion and resignation of MI state reps. to 9/11 attacks

ALLEGAN COUNTY - The Allegan County Tea Party posts a shocking response to the sex scandal that put two state lawmakers out of a job.

The group posted this message on its Facebook page: "On 9-11-2015, the terrorist network in Lansing, Michigan, sometimes called the Republican party leadership, has taken down the Twin Towers. It took more than box cutters to destroy the  foundation, but included well-paced explosives in a true conspiracy to cover the truth. Justice has not been served in this matter, but destroyed."

Todd Courser resigned and the MI House voted to expel his lover Cindy Gamrat.

State police are now conducting a criminal investigation to find out if Courser and Gamrat could face criminal charges
