(WJBK) - A pregnant woman disappears without a trace - and the family is still desperate for answers seven years later.
"It's been a long time," said Lisa Green, her mother. "Seven years is a very long time without hearing anything from my child. My family and I are in a lot of pain."
Bianca Green was 24 years old back in 2011 when she went missing and there has been no signs of her since. This is the second time Crime Stoppers had brought attention to the unsolved case.
"You lose a button up your shirt, you don't lose a child," said Lisa Green.
A loving uncle and mother are calling on the community to think hard. She was last seen by her mother at her workplace on the 4100 block of Harriet Street in Inkster. It was March 25th, 2011.
Two days later, a text message to family.
"Bianca was last seen wearing her work uniform and a black pants and a black shirt," said Dindi Maloney of Crime Stoppers. "She is 5 feet tall and weighs between 130 and 135 pounds. She has brown eyes and had brown shoulder length hair at the time of her disappearance."
She worked at Detroit Metro Airport as a supervisor at Earl of Sandwich. She was studying to become a nurse.
The family suspects foul play. She was pregnant at the time and is the mother of a son, Jamere.
Bianca left behind a child, a family her life, her life.
"Her disappearance really has really taken a toll on everybody," said Lisa Green. "I'm really counting on the community and some tips to help us."
A toll that can only be tamed by information leading to closure for this family.
