New Detroit-themed store opens on city's west side

(WJBK) - If you love Detroit -- and are not afraid to show it -- there's a new store that might be right for you.

Everything Detroit, located on Grand River on the city's west side, cut the ribbon and held a grand opening on March 13.

The store allows other business owners to sell their locally made products there, including Detroit-themed clothes and Detroit-made products, such as better made potato chips and even Motor City popcorn.

Business owners said the store is great for the revitalization of the northwest side of the city. Their goal is to have people walk out their door and to the store and not have to go all the way downtown to shop.
